The Endowment Fund

Each year, hundreds of highly talented and deserving young people apply for admission to the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program or the high school Arts Academy. Many can attend only with the support of a scholarship. The Associates established an Endowment Fund in 1988 in response to this need.

The Fund accepts donations of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, and other assets from members and non-members. While holding the principal intact, only the interest is distributed for scholarships each year. Your gift keeps on giving and will continue to help students in the arts year after year for generations to come.

The Endowment Fund provides an opportunity to honor or memorialize a friend or family member, and gifts may be tailored to specific arts disciplines within the Summer Program or the Arts Academy. Planned giving and bequests fit well into this Fund. As a 501(c)3 non-profit your donation may be tax deductible.

As of 2009 our Endowment Fund exceeds $165,000. Since its inception, over $43,000 in earned interest has been used to help deserving young people attend the Arts Academy and its Summer Program.
